Industrial Accent Table – The angle of iron has been around for years. It is use in all types of construction projects, including most industrial and commercial buildings. Due to its angular shape – which is 90 degrees – the angle of iron is strong and resists bending or deformation. It is available in almost length and can be cut by hand with a hacksaw. The best angular iron tables use beveled corners of 45 degrees, just as carpenters use in wood.
Measure the length and width of the board, cut the pieces to the length and then miter the corners at 45 degrees to form the industrial console table frame. You can also order the iron angle with beveled corners. The 90-degree lip on the frame offers the perfect place for plywood, particle board or solid wood top. For an indestructible angle iron table, cut a 1/4 inch steel plate to fit on the lip or on the top of the plywood.

The legs do not need miters. The corners of the base fit flat inside the angled corners of the legs table. Once the frame of an industrial style side table is complete, place it face down. To make your table look more presentable, paint it black or any other color that goes with its decoration. Cut the strips of oak wood to fit along the sides of the legs of the table, or anywhere you like.
