Glass Door Refrigerator – A refrigerator with the glass doors out of alignment may not work properly. Because the lack of alignment creates openings that can let out cold air. If the refrigerator has two doors, they can hit each other and be difficult or impossible to close completely. Furthermore, most refrigerator manufacturers anticipate some alignment problems and have several ways to correct doors that do not line up properly.
Check that the refrigerator is level by placing a level on the top of the refrigerator and controlling the position of the central bubble. If the refrigerator is not level, remove the grill or cover plate at the bottom of the refrigerator. You may have to remove one or two screws to remove the grill. Rotate the leveling legs on the bottom of the refrigerator by gripping the leg with a wrench or by installing a screwdriver in the adjustment slots in the plastic foot.

Locate the door adjustment nut, which is located below the corner of the hinge pin door. Turn the nut clockwise to raise the door or turn in the opposite direction to lower the door. Continue turning the adjusting nut until the door is even with the top of the refrigerator through the entire width. Lift the corner of the refrigerator door so that a small section of the hinge pin is exposed. Remove some of the C-clips from the articulation pin by clamping and pulling them if the door should be lowered. Continue this process until the door is aligned.
