Decorate your lighted garland outdoor with twinkling lights for lighting and dramatic effect on your landscape. Garland of the vine is composed of a group of vines woven together. Individual vines are thin, often less than 1/2-inch thick in diameter. When the vines are grouped, the total diameter of the garland can exceed 6 inches, depending on how many vines are grouped in the design. Mini twinkle lights have the smallest bulbs and work best to weave between the vines in the garland.
Plug the end of the plug from a filament of mini twinkle lights to one end of a vine wreath with floral tape. Wrap the ribbon around a vine in the garland, not the entire diameter of the garland. Insert the opposite end of the light bar through one of the larger openings between two vines in the wreath of the vine, starting from a section of the vine near the plug. Gently pull the light chain through the opening in the crown until the strand of cable tightens.

Turn the garland a quarter turn, and insert the light chain through another wide opening between two vines in the garland. Pull the lights through the vines with care until the cable is taut. Continue to weave the lights through the widest openings available along the garland vine chain. Turn the garland a quarter of a turn before each new insertion. Glue the end of the lit end of the chain around a vine in the crown after the last frame.
