Round wood accent table – Create an easy to build and surprising accent table by combining an uncut slate slab with a plaster pedestal. This combination creates a striking dramatic and lasting accent table in a contemporary or traditional setting. The pedestals and the blackboard can be found in garden centers. A tall pedestal and the slab becomes an accent table for the foyer or living room, a perfect place for a potted plant or lamp. Also use two pedestals and a longer piece of slate for a coffee table. The bad weather table is also a beautiful and natural looking, plus a backyard.
Choose the right plaster pedestal for your accent table. A table that could serve as a support for the plant or the lamp could be up to 30 inches high. A coffee table should be approximately 16 to 18 inches tall. And then choose an appropriate slab of state from the table. For an accent table, 22 inches by 22 inches works well. For a coffee table, 39 inches by 22 inches is a good size.

Cut the felt to the appropriate size of the base of the pedestal and glue it to the bottom of the base to protect your floor. And then cut the felt to a suitable size that fits between the pedestal and the slate slab. The felt will cushion and stabilize the tabletop. Then clean your unworked slab and plaster pedestal with a damp cloth and water to maintain the natural look of the board.
